The Larkin Soap Company tradition continues
The Larkin Center of Commerce, the new home of Bath & Bliss, was built in 1904 as the production facility for the historic Larkin Soap Company. The Larkin Soap Company began as a modest soap factory with two products made in Buffalo—Sweet Home Soap and Crème Oatmeal. Larkin Company products were manufactured under strict purity conditions, and as they became known for their high quality and outstanding performance, the popularity of these products grew.
Bath & Bliss is making history, too
Today, Bath & Bliss is proud to carry on the Larkin tradition of excellence, by housing our headquarters in the historic Larkin Center of Commerce in downtown Buffalo. Having the home of Bath & Bliss in the same location as the original Larkin Soap Company inspires us each and every day we come to work. We walk the same halls the Larkin family once did as they produced the first bars of soap in this facility more than 100 years ago. And it is with the same high standards for quality, purity and craftsmanship that we continue the legacy of exceptional skin care made in Western New York. Shop our Olive Oil Soaps, Natural Lotions and Olive Oil Sugar Scrubs and learn how we’re creating the Larkin Center’s next generation of products.
